From 2011-2020 I was the lead producer and vocalist for Sexparty, a queer-friendly, sex-positive art-rap group. I was fortunate to be in New Orleans for the post-Katrina emergence of “sissy bounce”-style rap, which influenced me heavily both as an artist and as a person: I decided to come out–as an artist and a person–after sharing the stage with Katey Red, the first trans "sissy bounce" rapper. Sexparty was an Official Selection at SXSW 2014.
